What to expect during your treatment?
- Your provider will cleanse your skin and apply a cooling gel or a numbing cream if needed.
- You will wear protective eyewear and feel a warm or snapping sensation as the light or laser is delivered to your skin.
- The treatment time will vary depending on the size and condition of the area being treated, but it usually takes 15 to 30 minutes.
- You may experience some mild discomfort, redness, swelling, or heat sensation during and after the treatment, which will subside within a few hours to a few days.
- Your provider will apply a soothing cream or gel and sunscreen after the treatment.

- Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least two weeks after your treatment.
- Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day and reapply every two hours if outdoors.
